Description

The project has the following objetives: i) the upgrade of the connectivity for the Eastern regions surrounding Bogotá as the Project will represent a new North-South axis with shorter travel times for the departments of Meta, Cundinamarca and Boyacá, as well as metropolitan Bogota, benefiting a total population of approximately 300,000 inhabitants from the areas surrounding the Project; ii) the reduction in fuel consumption and consequently GHG emissions associated with decreased congestion in BogotaÊÀs metropolitan area; iii) The direct and indirect job creation during construction and operations, which are being estimated with the construction and operational teams.
